Clark DeHaven, Ph.D. serves as Director of a Denver-based Lucent-Alcatel enterprise that develops special solutions to unique telecommunications by working closely with technology partners and suppliers. His primary focus is on custom development programs that enhance and leverage leading edge telecommunication technology developed by Lucent-Alcatel. Dr. DeHaven has over 25 years of experience in technology management and new business development with AT&T Bell Labs and, later, with the former Lucent Technologies. He received his B.S. in Physics from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Physics from University of Michigan.

Dale F. Falcinelli is a seasoned market strategist and strong proponent of new venture creation. Mr. Falcinelli is retired from a solo consulting practice that spans over three decades where he advised many hundreds of CEOs and boards of early stage and emerging growth companies on finance and strategy. A longstanding adjunct member of the Lehigh University MBA faculty, Mr. Falcinelli is a Professor of Practice, a faculty rank recognizing accomplishment in business and the professions. He was named the Swartley Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship by Lehigh and has been recipient of teaching awards over the years, including the MBA Teaching Excellence Award, which he received in 2008. Mr. Falcinelli is the creator of VENTURESeries, a highly popular MBA track and executive certificate program that dissects and builds on every aspect of entrepreneurship. Mr. Falcinelli has served on over two dozen boards of both public and privately-held companies, and is presently a Trustee of Easton Hospital which is owned by Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CHS). He is a member of the Board of Advisors of a new venture initiative of Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. where he previously served on their Venture Investment Board. Mr. Falcinelli is frequently invited to speak before corporate audiences and leading academic institutions, including the MBA and Executive MBA programs at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as "Wharton West" in San Francisco. He has appeared on A&E's nationally acclaimed Biography television series and a PBS documentary on Bethlehem Steel. He was awarded the Entrepreneurial Advocate by the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern PA at their annual Innovation Awards ceremony for his many contributions in the field of entrepreneurship. Mr. Falcinelli was recently recognized by "Lehigh Valley Suits" in their March 2008 Annual Awards ceremony honoring Lehigh Valley business professionals who have distinguished themselves in their field. Mr. Falcinelli holds a B.S. (cum laude) and M.A. from Lehigh University. Mike Gausling is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Originate Ventures, a recently formed venture capital firm which targets early stage product and services companies in Eastern Pennsylvania. Originate Ventures' focus is on medical devices, healthcare, consumer, web-based and certain commercial products and/or product distribution opportunities. Co-Founder and former CEO of OraSure Technologies (NASDAQ: OSUR), Mr. Gausling helped build the company from a start-up to over $50MM in annual sales and a market cap of over $500MM over a 17-year period. Over that time, he has raised over $75MM from angel investors, venture capitalists, public offerings, and from commercial banks. Mr. Gausling was recognized as Ernst & Young "Central and Eastern Pa Biotech Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2005, and the Company was named for 7 consecutive years to the "Fastest 50" growth companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. Prior to OraSure, Mr. Gausling held a variety of financial management positions at Proctor & Gamble. In later years, he served as a Board member, Audit Chair, and member of the Executive, Loan, and Compensation Committees with the former KNBT Bancorp, the largest community bank in the Lehigh Valley which recently merged with National Penn Bank. He also currently serves on the Life Science Advisory Board for Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE: SFE). Safeguard is a holding company that builds value in high-growth revenue stage information technology and life science businesses. Mr. Gausling is also Treasurer of LVIP, a local non-profit land development company. LVIP recently acquired a large former Bethlehem Steel brownfield site for redevelopment into prime industrial, retail, and commercial space. Mr. Gausling graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1980 and he received an M.B.A. in Finance from Miami University of Ohio in 1983. He is active in the community promoting economic development and entrepreneurship.

H. Robert Gustafson, Jr. has spent many years in the entrepreneurial ranks, as founder and business builder. His most recent experience included developing and executing rapid growth strategies for Allentown, PA niche-company that manufactures and markets premium tropical fruit nectars from Brazil's Amazon rain forest. Previously, Mr. Gustafson served as a partner of Fragrance Manufacturing, Inc., a late stage company providing product and SCM services to the fragrance, personal care, and household products industries. He was also co-founder of Millbrook Incorporated, an IT software company that developed a comprehensive data mining and management tool presently used by property and casualty insurance companies. In prior years, Mr. Gustafson served as president of International Strategic Alliances Corporation, a US-style housing manufacturer and start-up company that was based in Russia. He had been vice president of Shelter Systems Corporation, another US-style housing manufacturer that targeted small overseas countries. Mr. Gustafson began his career with Proctor & Gamble, and was later recruited as a PepsiCo Plant Manager before embarking on an entrepreneurial path that now "spans"20+ years. Mr. Gusafson chairs the Board of Advisors for Lehigh University's Enterprise Systems Center and heads the Information & Systems Engineering Leadership Honors Program. He is on the Industry Advisory Board for the National Science Foundation Center for Engineering Logistics & Distribution. Mr. Gusafson was awarded the 2000 Incubator Graduate-of-Year Award from the Ben Franklin Technology Partnership of Northeastern PA. He was the recipient of the Lehigh University Alumni Award, and is a director of Lehigh Alumni Association. Mr. Gustafson earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MS in Dynamics of Organization from the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard Kollender is a Partner with Quaker BioVentures. He previously held positions in sales, marketing and worldwide business development at GlaxoSmithKline. He also served as investment manager at S.R. One (GlaxoSmithKline's independent corporate healthcare venture capital fund), where he evaluated potential investment opportunities, performed due diligence, structured and negotiated investments, and worked with senior management teams to execute their strategies following investment. Mr. Kollender also serves as director and oB.S.erver on the boards of a number of portfolio companies funded by Quaker BioVentures, such as Precision Therapeutics (Pittsburgh, PA oncology services company dedicated to the individualization of cancer therapy); TargetRx (Horsham, PA on-line market research firm sharing member physicians attitudes and beliefs with pharmaceutical companies); Transport Pharmaceuticals (Framingham, MA biomedical company that develops and designs drug/device combination products for the treatment of multiple dermatological diseases); Nupathe (Conshohocken, PA pharmaceutical company specializing in the development of innovative products for the treatment of neurological and psychiatric diseases); Transave (Monmouth Junction, NJ biotechnology company focusing on the treatment of serious lung diseases through the development of novel, site-specific liposomal drug products); Amicus Therapeutics (Cranbury NJ drug development company that focuses on oral therapies to treat a range of human genetic disorders); and Celator Pharmaceuticals (Princeton, NJ biopharmaceutical company focusing on combination therapies aimed at targeting and treating cancer cells). Mr. Kollender began his career as a practicing CPA with KPMG Peat Marwick with emphasis on the healthcare and emerging growth business sectors. He remains a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a Public Policy Committee Member with "Pennsylvania Bio,"the statewide association representing PA's bioscience industry. He earned his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College, and M.B.A. and Health Administration & Policy degrees (with honors) from the University of Chicago.

Jeffrey P. Libson, Esq. is a Corporate and Securities partner in the Berwyn, PA office of Pepper Hamilton LLP, which is a multi-practice law firm with more than 500 lawyers in seven states and the District of Columbia. Mr. Libson is the head of the Pepper's life sciences practice where he is involved in venture financing, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and the commercialization, licensing and acquisition of intellectual property. He represents a number of publicly traded and closely held life science companies in ongoing representations as outside general counsel. He also represents a number of nonprofit entities that support the life sciences industry. Mr. Libson is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialties of biotechnology law and venture capital law. He also is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business for his experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Mr. Libson is active in the venture capital and life science community. He serves as secretary and a member of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association.  He was co-chairman of the 2005 Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference as well as co-chairman of the 2004 and 2003 Biotech Symposia jointly sponsored by the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association and the Biotechnology Council of New Jersey. He also was the inaugural co-chairman of the 2003 Early Stage East Bio-Life-Tech venture capital conference. He was the 2003 recipient of the Entrepreneurial Advocate award given by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern PA at their annual Northeastern PA Innovation Awards ceremony. Mr. Libson is an adjunct professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches a graduate business course on life sciences entrepreneurship. He also is an adjunct professor in Lehigh University's College of Business & Economics, where he teaches an MBA course in entrepreneurship and venture capital financing. Mr. Libson received his B.A. from Oberlin College and J.D. (with distinction) from Duke University School of Law.

Christopher S. Miller, Esq. is a Corporate & Securities Partner in the Berwyn, PA offices of Pepper Hamilton LLP. He focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, venture capital, computer and technology law, general corporate matters, and SEC investigations. Mr. Miller has represented public and private companies on the selling and buying sides of mergers, stock, and asset acquisition transactions. He also has represented issuers and underwriters in private and public offerings of debt and equity securities, as well as public companies in ongoing reporting and compliance matters. He regularly represents venture capitalists and emerging companies in financing transactions. Mr. Miller is a graduate of William & Mary and the University of Miami School of Law.

Jim Peters brings a combination of executive leadership, healthcare, technology, and data analytics experience to his dual role as Senior Director, Geisinger Ventures (a health system-owned ventures group) and Founder/CEO of one of its portfolio companies, MedMining (an information services company that counts AstraZeneca, Sanofi Aventis, Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, and others among its customers). Through his affiliation with Geisinger Health System, whose vast data assets serve as the foundation for MedMining, Mr. Peters has provided venture direction for initiatives involving information services, personalized medicine, remote patient monitoring, and consumer-oriented models of care. He previously served as a Principal for Updata Venture Partners, a venture capital partnership that invests in early and expansion stage software and healthcare IT companies, and was a member of Updata's Senior Leadership team that successfully delivered performance that scored in the top decile among its peers. Mr. Peters focus included market research, analytics, business intelligence and healthcare informatics. Prior to Updata, Mr. Peters was an entrepreneur. He founded and grew a successful technology services firm that sold into the medical/consumer packaged goods industries. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting. He is an active member of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, Parmaceutical Marketing Research Group, American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association. An alumnus of the National Venture Capital Association's VC Institute, Mr. Peters is very active in the venture community, having served on the Selection Committee for the Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference, VC Committee for the New York New Media Conference, and member of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group and Jersey Angel Network. Mr. Peters has started a number of perennial fundraising initiatives, and is an active Parkinson's Disease advocate. He received his B.A. from Lehigh University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and played varsity baseball. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ron Pierantozzi, Ph.D. is currently the CEO of PPT Research, a materials technology company in Allentown, PA. He recently retired from the management ranks of Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. He is also a member of the Radical Innovation Group, a consulting firm that works with global companies to develop their innovation capability. Dr. Pierantozzi is also a partner in Cameron and Associates, a consulting firm focused on developing relationships with Fortune companies committed to corporate venturing through technology and innovation. He previously served as Air Product's Director, Business Development, which focused on new venture creation and technology transfer. This involved a wide range of duties that included identifying and commercializing new technologies, forming and incubating new technology-based ventures, managing external partnerships and forming market alliances, and investing in both early and late stage companies working through high profile VCs. Dr. Pierantozzi continues to work closely with VCs in the advanced materials and machine-to-machine sectors, where he provides expertise in market strategy and business valuation. He previously served as Director of Technology with APCI for platforms in hydrogenation, amination, and nitration technologies. He also held various positions the Performance Ceramics & Process Systems Group, and was Director of the Adsorption Technology Center. Dr. Pierantozzi is an inventor/co- inventor, and holds of 32 U.S. patents and authored 16 publications. His most recent publication "Implementing a Learning Plan to Counter Project Uncertainty" with Mark Rice and Gina O'Connor, was recently published in Sloan Management Review. Dr. Pierantozzi is also an adjunct professor with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he frequently lectures on subjects dealing with innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also a member of the faculty for the program on Corporate Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Danish Technical University, where he conducts a seminar on developing business plans for the global enterprise. He is Executive-in-Residence with the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at the Lally School of Technology Management. Dr. Pierantozzi received his B.S. in Chemistry from Temple University and his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University.

Craig T. Scott serves as Director of Sales for Illinois-based Schutt Sports, Inc., a privately-held global company. An emerging growth business, Schutt manufactures and markets a full line of protective equipment and accessories for a wide range of sports, including football, baseball, softball and basketball. Mr. Scott is responsible for the development of marketing strategy and sales execution for domestic markets as well as developing product launch plans and engaging in business expansion to enter new venues. Prior to joining Schutt, he served as Executive Vice President for Universal Fabric Structures, Inc., a design leader in permanent and portable large-scale fabric enclosures for a wide range of commercial and military applications. Previously, Mr. Scott was president of a small nationally-based consumer products firm and a senior planning executive with a middle market confectionary company. He earned his M.B.A. from Lehigh University and holds a B.S. in Marketing from The Penn State University.

Frank J. Spanitz, Esq. is a partner in the "Intellectual Property Group"of Duane, Morris LLP. One of the fastest growing international law firms, Duane, Morris LLP has offices situated throughout the US and abroad, including London and Singapore. Mr. Spanitz practices IP law in their Lehigh Valley office with emphasis on procuring domestic and foreign utility and design patents, patent portfolio development and strategies, product clearance and patentability opinions, licensing, trademarks, and counseling. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. Mr. Spanitz is also a licensed professional engineer and, prior to becoming a lawyer, served as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager with PPL, Inc.

Peter Turner has been actively involved in entrepreneurial start-ups and turnarounds for over two decades. Currently, he is presently working on his 4th new venture, a wine merchant business located in CT. Previously, Mr. Turner served as President/Chief Operating Officer of Torrington Research Company, a state-of-the-art technology leader in the design and engineering of high performance air and fluid moving systems for multiple world-wide markets. Torrington offers customized solutions to OEMs. With the need for more powerful, yet smaller, quieter, and more efficient blowers and pumps, the demand for Torrington's services and designs is steadily growing. Torrington recently completed its sale to one of its largest customers. Earlier entrepreneurial ventures have included OEM contract manufacturing and the marketing of automotive aftermarket products. Mr. Turner has served as member of the local school board for the past fourteen years, and was its chairman for six of those years. He is also an active member of his Congregational Church, and a Boy Scout leader. He began his career as a CPA with the former Touche Ross & Co. in Philadelphia. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Charlie Zeynel is founder/President of ZAG International Inc., headquartered in Newtown, CT. ZAG sources and supplies cement, clinker and other key products, provides strategic marketing/sourcing/logistics services, and develops and manages investments projects for the global construction industry. Previously, Mr. Zeynel spent 25 years with the former Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) in senior level positions. He also served as EVP of Bulk Materials Inc., a global supplier of raw materials to the cement industry. Following his education at Lehigh University, University of Geneva, and Graduate Institute of International Studies (Geneva, Switzerland), Mr. Zeynel joined UCC. He rose from sales and marketing ranks to become Wire & Cable Global Business Director, Director of Quality (Chemicals & Plastics Group), VP/GM of WEDCO (UCC Canadian subsidiary), and VP/GM of PETROMONT, Inc. (Quebec-based petrochemical joint venture between SGF and UCC). Mr. Zeynel later became Director, Corporate Ventures, and led the 6-year effort in the development, negotiation and formation of UCC's $2.7 billion investment in Asia, its linchpin joint venture with PETRONAS, the national oil company of Malaysia. Mr. Zeynel also served as UCC Director on the OPTIMAL (Malaysia) and EQUATE (Kuwait) joint venture boards. Following the merger with Dow Chemical, Mr. Zeynel founded ZAG International and also joined Bulk Materials to lead its global expansion in the Mediterranean and Asia Pacific regions, and building a worldwide sales team with a presence in Italy, Japan, Singapore, and North Africa. During his brief tenure with Bulk Materials, the company moved from a US-based operation to become a global supplier. Mr. Zeynel resigned from BMI to dedicate all of his time and energy to ZAG, which has since become an emerging growth company with a presence in Pisa, Italy and Tokyo, Japan, as well having affiliates in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Casablanca and the UAE. Mr. Zeynel is a visiting lecturer of entrepreneurship and strategy with Lehigh's highly acclaimed Global Village Abroad program in Spain (Carlos Madrid University), in Australia (Curtin University), and in Abu Dhabi (Higher Colleges of Technology).
